I'm looking for the instruction manual for a manual focus zoom lens...?
I bought it on Ebay, and it was listed as an 80-200mm 1:3.5 Minolta Focal MC Auto Zoom Manual Lens with 1:4-1:10 macro ability and a 62mm thread. I think Focal may be the brand name, or it might just be a Minolta lens. Whatever the case, I would REALLY like some tips on how to operate this lens, or if it can be found, the link to an user guide for this lens. Also, the model # is 508461. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, fotoace. Especially for the UV filter tip. Actually, I know in general how to use any lens (focusing and zooming with it) I guess I'm mainly wondering what the red box, bar, and R are for, as well as the green numbers. I just took a look at another of my lenses and noticed that it, too has a tiny red R on it...
You don't need a manual to focus a manual focus lens ... you just have to look through the viewfinder and focus the lens ... done.
The 62 mm refers to the size of the filter thread. If you don't have a UV filter on the lens, you may want buy one to protect the front element of your lens.
The model number is probably not 508461 ... that is more likely the serial number.
From the gist of your question, you may find taking a class in photography to save yourself the frustration trying to learn to use your camera and lens using the "try and fail" method
