Night photos with a EOS Rebel K2?
I want to take some pictures of the eclipse tonight and i am using an Canon EOS rebel k2 with a 28-80mm 1:3.5-5.6 lens with a uv filter 35mm 400ISO film. I read a few posts saying that i should use a 4 second exposure time, but is there anything else i need to set? I would be using the camera on manual mode.
Too bad you didn't run tests a few days ago.
The moon (except while is it in the shade of the earth) will be in bright sun ... not a night shot at all. If they say 4 seconds, well what can I say? I would suggest your bracket like a wild man
With your lens set at 80mm, the moon will only be about 1mm in diameter on your film ... I am using a 500mm and the moon will be less than 5mm in diameter on my film
