We need to buy an 18 inch dishwasher and are trying to decide between the compact appliance companies and the standards like Whirlpool, Kenmore, etc. Seems to be quite a price difference and wondering if it's worth it to pay $100-$150 more for a better brand name or if Avanti and/or Danby are reliable and efficient products.
