Well you can always re-shoot the picture or just fix it in photoshop. To fix it in photoshop use curves or levels and it should somewhat fix the image depending on how under exposed it is. I don't know what the image looks like so there is no way to tell it someone would be able to tell. However, you are the photographer and its your vision. If you like the way it is then thats the way you should keep it.
